Great Question eh.So listen-Cricket’s contribution to India is great and cannot be told in so few words. However,in a nutshell Indians being Corrupt, immoral, selfish, are kept away from committing these vices only because of cricket.Had it not been for Cricket we would be scheming and planning diabolically newer ways in corruptions. This great game has made a nation of idlers from us.Ineffecient as we were,we have become more so now.In short-it only appeals to FOOLS.Unnerstan’ boy or not otherwise why great nations like US,Germany,Russia,France etc aint playing this.

India is one of the leading nations of the world. Cricket too played its part.
Mr Know All; Geat countries like US, France and Russia are looking towards India to bail them out. Why do you think these countries went out of their way to support India in the Nuclear Deal? The money is coming from India and all these great countries know it. Could you please tell them to play cricket?

The game of cricket helps to build team spirit among the players. It is a competitive game – sometimes one team wins and at other times the other team wins. This helps to maintain interest in the game; people enjoy watching the game as it has a competitive edge. But the game of cricket is played with a sporting spirit, as winning and losing are not all that matters. On the sporting field the players are competitors, but friends otherwise. Players from different backgrounds, languages and countries play together without any problems. Because they are united by a common temper and spirit.

well cricket has served as a unifying factor all over the country.whether you are from andhra or punjab it doesn’t matter we are all united by a common love for this sport.true any sport can do it but since the indians have taken a liking to cricket it does unite us as a country. we share a common feeling of victory or defeat.it has also helped our country financially as a lot of revenue is collected from matches also and it is also a matter of pride for us when india wins(t20 world cup)
