Sammy smashes record but Windies fall just short

Darren Sammy smashed a record half-century on Monday and came very close to pulling off a sensational victory for West Indies against South Africa in the second Digicel One-Day International at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground. The 26-year-old, came in as late as Number 9, and blasted 54 not out off just 24 balls with six massive sixes and two boundaries. His 50 came off just 20 balls.
