It was the afternoon of Friday 21 August and I was on holiday in King’s Lynn. Having seen the sights, I went for a cup of tea at the Green Quay – a cafe and exhibition centre beside the Great Ouse in the centre of the town. It was also the second day of the final Ashes test.
