I am buying my own phone on EBay, cause its cheaper and its a good phone.(Yes its a cricket one) But I’m wondering if cricket will charge extra cause I didn’t buy it from them, or just how much it costs to connect my phone not including the monthly pays.

Warning.. there is a complaint that Cricket will not allow you to activate a phone from Ebay. They will claim it was stolen. Cancel the sale ASAP.
