ROSEAU, Dominica, CMC – Twenty-two wickets tumbled as the first round contest of the Regional Four-Day Championship between Guyana and Leewards Islands swung this way and that, on the second day at Windsor Park here Saturday. ? Guyana, resuming the day at 162 for four, lost their last six wickets for 46 runs to be all out for 208 before lunch, with pacer Gavin Tonge grabbing five for 53 and West Indies leg-spinner Anthony Martin (2-44) and off-spinner Justin Athanaze (2-58) finishing with two wickets each.

CHRISTOPHER Gayle thundered a magnificent 165 yesterday to guide reigning champions Jamaica to a 283-run lead against the Windward Islands in the opening round West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) four-day match at Sabina Park. After pacer Andrew Richardson had taken a five wicket haul to restrict the Windwards to 159, Gayle mowed through the visitors' bowling attack as Jamaica closed on 262-7 at the end of day two.
