On the rare occasions my mum has nothing to worry about she worries about having nothing to worry about. That’s pretty much how I feel about the Ashes. The disaster-free warm-up is proving unnerving; no serious injury worries, no major form concerns, no reports of squad disharmony, binge-drinking sessions or Redback bites.
